MEMORY
dave bean - by email
I saw him about 5 times:Monday 27 March '72 - London, Royal Albert Hall but the Portsmouth show was probably the best, even though it was only about forty minutes. He turned up over an hour late and the audience was very pissed off. He walked on stage to loud boos and slow hand claps, but after a few words, less than a minute, he had the audience eating out of his hands. Hope these English phrases make sense. Anyway it was an absolutely brilliant show, just a shame it wasn't longer.
