is the 050775 performance by captain beefheart and a newly
recruited 'band
of gypsies'! and the ceedee version could well be of a
better quality than
the very reasonable audience recording we had to live with
till now (at
least, í had). added to the 'bonus list' a few months ago,
it now
is part of the most recent combi-offer:

the 1975 knebworth festival with captain beefheart and
have just
brought out an abridged knebworth commemorative set and with it
we are
giving, as a special gift, some live cds from the festival.

sure is what you have to do if you want to get this set (or
any other thing
they sell) because it's the only place in the world and
cyberspace to buy
it. but as this particular combination isn't in the catalogue
at their
website, and details like what the price is in euros and how
to pay are
failing, you should use your phone or computer. say you're
talking about
the 'captain beefheart electricity' set, and they will know
what you mean....
mind that - if i
have
surfed their site right - because it's almost christmas

extending the deluxe

great idea, but
it can't compensate for the fact that you buy a lot of
related stuff with
hardly any beefheart content. whatever way you look at it,
this thorough
music history book mainly is - here comes the CONCLUSION!

spring 2006 four
recordings were discovered
of concerts frank zappa had given in england in the
seventies. back then
freddy bannister was his (and captain beefheart's) european
promoter, so
the found was brought to his attention. and although those
live performances
have nothing to do with the knebworth festivals, they were
burned to ceedees
which were used as bonuses to another commemorative set:

has been produced in a limited signed edition of only
200. it is
