the concertzender is a dutch radio station which broadcasts all sorts of music and concerts, but nót from the pop genre. you know: it's old and new jazz, classical and modern composers, music projects, special festivals, and all that stuff. it also brings a weekly feature with 'current happenings regarding new music', but which - as it focuses on performances in holland - unfortunately is narrated in dutch.

so, cyber listeners to the STOFZUIGERS VERKOPEN instalment should be aware that the program actually is an announcement of the start of the SELLING HOOVERS IN MOJAVE tour. as that tribute by the ROSA ENSEMBLE & HANS DAGELET is a 'translation in words and music' of captain beefheart compositions, again not all foreign listeners will understand the texts of the advance show.... for them, let's just hope there is a lot of music in this 'compilation'.
